At Zwart Techniek, we value the protection of your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we handle your details when you apply for a position within our organisation.
Who is responsible for processing your information?

What types of personal data do we collect?
When you apply for a role at Zwart, you usually share some personal details with us, as you would for any job application.
This includes:
Your full name (first name, initials, any title), gender, date of birth, address, postcode, place of residence, telephone number, and other contact details, such as your email address.
Information about the education, courses, and internships you have completed or are attending.
Details about the specific job you are applying for.
Information regarding your current job, including its nature, content, and details about its termination.
A description of your previous jobs, including their nature and content, and information about their terminations.
Any additional information that could help fulfil the position, whether provided by you or known to you.
References provided by you that may assist in evaluating your application.
A photograph, if you choose to include one.
Any other necessary data for implementing or applying relevant laws, along with any information you provide in your CV and/or cover letter.
Purpose and basis of processing
Your personal data will be processed to assess your application and determine whether we invite you for further introductions. The processing is necessary to take measures, at your request, to conclude an employment contract (Article 6 paragraph 1b AVG).
If we want to ask you to keep your data longer for future vacancies, we explicitly request your consent (Article 6 paragraph 1a AVG).
How long do we keep your personal data?
When storing personal data, our principle is to retain it only for as long as necessary for the intended purpose.
If you grant us explicit permission to keep your data for future job vacancies, we will retain it for a maximum of one year.
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
Sharing of personal data
We use your personal data primarily for our own business operations, specifically related to the application process and the establishment of the employment contract. We only utilise this data for the purposes for which we initially collected it.
When necessary, we enter into processing agreements with third parties that handle personal data on our behalf, known as "processors." This ensures that when we share data with these parties, they are obligated to maintain proper security measures and inform us promptly in case of a data breach or suspected data breach.
Additionally, we do not share your personal data with countries outside of the European Economic Area (EEA).
Data security
Zwart Techniek takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to secure your personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. We also update this periodically when necessary.
Persons only have access to your personal data if necessary to perform their duties. These include the manager(s), the employees involved in the selection, and the employees of the HR department.
If a security incident occurs despite the security measures taken, we will take the necessary measures to limit the consequences for your privacy as much as possible. If a "data breach" involves your data, we will report this to you and the Personal Data Authority.
