The team of project engineers and project managers works on challenging emergency power installations for data center projects. Combine an analytical view with decisiveness to coordinate various tasks, investigate, and solve complex technical puzzles. The Project Manager and Project Engineer work very closely together within the project, this is truly a tandem where the Project Engineer focuses on technology and the Project Manager mainly focuses on planning, finances, and customer relations. As a Project Engineer at Zwart Techniek, you need a result-oriented and structured approach. Together we strive for high quality by focusing well on the details, but also regularly zooming out to oversee the bigger picture. By ensuring a tight schedule and clear communication, you can make smart decisions to successfully complete projects.

With your strong communication skills, you can clearly inform and advise stakeholders, both internally and externally, on options, progress, and solutions. You are the driving force behind the projects and a valuable link within the team, with a keen eye for quality and a focus on achieving goals.

Tasks include:

  • From the sales file, create a clear and thoughtful plan of approach, in terms of work instructions and test plans to guide stakeholders.

  • Anticipate and consider the necessary resources and scheduling to successfully complete the project.

  • Evaluate electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings along with specifying technical requests within emergency power installations.

  • Closely collaborate with purchasing, engineering, and the commissioning team to achieve perfect alignment.

  • Maintain a sharp insight into the interfaces between these departments and ensure they work together smoothly to meet all requirements and quality standards.

  • You have the talent to organize a project tightly, address problems immediately, and come up with effective solutions quickly.

  • Thinking from systems and structure is in your nature, and you combine this with the motivation to achieve results and lead teams to success.

  • Occasionally visit project locations in the Netherlands and abroad for inventory and coordination, but mostly remote.

  • HBO level of education with a degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience within a technical project organization, especially in the field of electrical/energy engineering.

  • Proactive attitude and ability to independently solve technical problems.

  • Decisive and result-oriented.

  • Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

  • Curiosity and responsibility in your work.

🛡️What guarantees can you expect?

  • A 38-hour contract per week

  • A salary between €3,800 and €5,900 gross per month depending on knowledge and experience.

  • A company phone, laptop, and car.

  • Collective year-end bonus.

  • 8% holiday allowance of the gross annual salary, paid in June.

  • Total of 30 days off per year in a full-time position and the option to purchase extra days.

  • Working under the Collective Labor Agreement for Metal & Technology - Technical installation company.
